This event is coordinated by Golf Australia (not BDLGA) however BDLGA is responsible for selecting our District team.
Friendly reminder, BDLGA select our District team based on 2025 BDLGA event performance, specifically BDLGA Championships results so please ensure you sign up for our events, especially the Championships (when registrations are open).
Details about the 2025 Inter-District Championships will be released by Golf Australia closer to the event.

This year's Noosa Springs getaway will be held from Wednesday, 29 October 2025 to Friday, 31 October 2025. Please refer to the link for further details! Although we are currently fully subscribed, feel free to include yourself and your friends on a waiting list (by contacting the email address below) as plans may change for our registrants.

Bulimba Golf Club will be hosting the Inter-Club Open on Monday, 20 October 2025. Our sponsor for this event is Golf Central, Brisbane Airport.
You will need to be prepared for a rollacoaster of feelings competing in this event on the challenging Bulimba Golf Club compact and tricky 9-hole par 3 course. And do not be surprised by your allocated handicap... Bulimba Golf Club has a slope rating of 65 so we have warned you! Sponsors for this event are GolfCentral.

The 2025 BDLGA Championships will be held at McLeod Golf Club on Friday, 27 June. The event is sponsored by Tony Hollands Funerals.

The 2025 BDLGA District Foursomes will be held at Windaroo Golf Club on Monday, 12 May 2025. The event will be sponsored by Tony Hollands Funerals.

At this point, it is the understanding of BDLGA this event will not be played again in 2025.
The BDLGA offers members the opportunity to compete for a District Brooch each year.
All affiliated players from Clubs in the Brisbane District who hold a current GA handicap are eligible. The event is to be played monthly on nominated days during each months of April through to September in conjunction with games as arranged by the Clubs.
Clubs may nominate 2 dates per month to accommodate for WEEK DAY and WEEKEND players HOWEVER club players cannot play on both dates and choose their better score for that month.
Brooches will be awarded to one winner in each Division district-wide (week day or weekend).

BDLGA is introducing a NEW event this year called the BDLGA Blitzer which is based on the Blitz Golf format. This NEW event will be played on Wednesday, 6 August 2025 at Toogoolawah Golf Club.
Conditions of Play are summarised below:
- The competition field will be limited to 72 players i.e. 24 players in each of 3 Divisions.
- Divisions handicap ranges will be dependent on the handicaps of nominating players, noting the maximum handicap to nominate is 36.
- Round 1 will involve all 72 nominatees playing single Stableford and competing over 9 holes.
- Round 2 will involve the top 36 players (i.e. 12 per Division) proceeding on playing single Stableford over a further 6 holes.
- Round 3 will involve the top 18 players (i.e. 6 per Division) going head-to-head playing single Stableford over the remaining 3 holes.
- Thereafter the top 9 players (i.e. 3 per Division) will advance to a handicapped Matchplay over 1 hole only to determine the overall Division winners. If a tie occurs on the final play off, a NTP shot off will occur.
