Our newly introduced BDLGA Blitzer (based on the Blitz Golf format) was played on Wednesday, 6 August 2025 at Toogoolawah Golf Club.
The Toogoolawah women spoiled attendees from 11 of our District Clubs with their wonderful hospitality - thank you very much! And the golf competition was a thriller...
Thank you to players for coming along and supporting this new BDLGA event. BDLGA were grateful for the willingness by players to alter the conditions of play enabling us all to play 17 holes of golf with the top 4 performers advancing to MatchPlay on the 18th hole - but we still could not separate them so a NTP shoot off was needed!!!
Congratulations Anna Petersen, Wynnum Golf Club who was the overall competition winner and runner up Marie Voorma, Laidley Golf Club.
Until next year, we will have to wait and see what the 2026 BDLGA Blitzer has in store...
