Our Pennant Season
The 2027 BDLGA Pennant season will run continuously over seven (7) weeks, starting on 14 May 2027 for Friday Pennants, and 16 May 2027 for Sunday Pennants, after the public holidays and Mother’s Day.
The 2027 BDLGA Intent to Compete form is now available at https://bdlga.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2027-BDLGA-Pennant-INTENT-FORM.pdf
The 2027 BDLGA Intent to Compete form must be completed by Saturday, 31 October 2026 and returned to pennants@bdlga.com.au
Draws for the 2027 season will be available toward the end of the year along with contact details for 2027 Club Pennant Captains.
Below are the key dates for our 2027 Pennant season:
Late August 2026 – call for completion of Intent to Compete forms.
25 September 2026 – further detail about changes to season 2027 will be shared during the Delegate Meeting.
31 October 2026 – return of Intention to Compete Forms.
November 2026 – draft draws will be available (subject to change) and host venue confirmation commenced.
Late November 2026 – distribution of updated Pennant Regulations.

2027 Gold Pennants
- Five (5) players.
- All matches will be played OFF THE STICK.
- The maximum handicap of any player is GA 20.
- Order of play will be 1/2/3/4/5.

Results
2027 Silver Pennants
- Seven (7) players.
- All matches will be played using FULL HANDICAP DIFFERENCE.
- The handicap range of any player is NO MINIMUM to a MAXIMUM GA 28.
- Players with a GA higher than 28 may play in the competition but must play using the maximum GA of 28.
- Order of play will be 1/2/3/4/5/6/7.
- The aggregate of the GA handicaps of players must be at least 100. If an individual’s GA is greater than 28, then 28 will be the figure used as their GA in this calculation.
- There is no maximum aggregate.
2027 Draws not available as yet
2027 Bronze Pennants
- Five (5) players.
- All matches will be played using FULL HANDICAP DIFFERENCE.
- The handicap range of any player is MINIMUM GA 20 to MAXIMUM GA 36.
- Players with a GA higher than 36 may play in the competition but must play using the maximum GA of 36.
- Order of play will be 1/2/3/4/5.
- The aggregate of the GA handicaps of players must be at least 125. If an individual’s GA is greater than 36, 36 will be used as their GA in this calculation.
- There is no maximum aggregate.
