Many of our ladies golf clubs have a regular day, and sometimes two days, where the ladies only get together for a round of golf. Much of this is done in competition format however if you are new to your area and club, contact your local club and ask for the Ladies Club Captain to make contact with you. She should be more than happy to help you become involved with regular golf.
We would encourage local clubs to list their events on our Calendar - head to the Calendar page and click on the "ADD" link just above the calendar.
All local club members are eligible to enter these events (refer to each event's Conditions of Play). Participating in Brisbane and District Golf events are a great way to be involved in competition events other that at the local level.
Not only can you play in major district events but participating at District level is also a great way to meet ladies from other clubs who regularly attend these events.
Our major events and any special events coming up are listed on our Calendar as well as in the District events area of this website.
Have a look at the Junior Golf Section in this website for ways that you can get into the sport of golf. or what event the district has coming up.
BDLGA has a Junior Coordinator whom you may email - firstname.lastname@example.org. She will point you in the right direction or provide advice on any queries you may have.
