The Junior Girls' Championships were played at Brisbane and Oxley, over 36 holes, on 8 and 9 July. There was a great atmosphere over the two-day event as, for the first time, the Boys and Girls' Championships were played together. There were almost 150 young players, including 39 girls, with most of them playing off handicaps under 5.
